Despite it's miniscule size, Malta offers unforgettable, unique, magical places that can be found nowhere else in the world.

Personalised itineraries are organised while making sure that each tour is enjoyable and unforgettable. Specialising in small groups and private tours for individual travellers, families and business executives. I also offer theme ideas to tour operators, travel agencies, and other tourism related operational bodies, on request.

You can rest assured that whether you come to Malta for leisure, or be it on a short business trip, you will come as a tourist, but leave as a friend!

Q. Why should I hire a guide through YourMaltaGuide.com?

A. When you hire a guide through our website, you are hiring a person who has been licensed by the Malta Tourism Authority. It is illegal to conduct a tour in Malta without a license. In fact, the Malta Union of Tourist Guides works continuously with the Malta Tourism Authority to increase licensing enforcement. Beyond that, when you hire a licensed tourist guide, you are hiring a person that has adhered to a Code of Ethics, and who is actively engaged in furthering their education, otherwise, such license will not be re-issued. Our team can work in all the various aspects of the tourism industry including step-on guide, silent guide, tour manager, itinerary planner, language interpreter, and airport / pier 'meet & greets'.

Q. What is the custom Tour Etiquette?

A. Just like at the cinema, when you are on a tour, certain etiquette should be observed. Cell phone, personal music or entertainment devices should not be used, both as a sign of respect to the guide who is conducting the tour, but also not to disturb or cause a lack of concentration to the other group members. Ideally, cell phones should be either set on ‘silent’ or switched off.

Questions are welcome and it’s the guide’s pleasure to explain so that everyone understands any concerns or queries they might have, however, it is also ethical to leave questions towards the end of the visit at particular places so that all questions are answered when the guide is ready from her explanation.

Reservations

  • Reservations are required.
  • A deposit is required to guarantee your reservation.
  • An email confirmation will be sent once deposit is received.

Billing Information

  • All rates are in Euro (€).
  • A pre-agreed deposit is to be prepaid according to the rates quoted.
  • We accept secure payment via Paypal.
  • Rates do not include: Food and beverage, transport (such as ferry trips), gratuities, or entrance fees to museums and monuments, unless other wise noted.

Cancellation Policy

In case of a booking cancellation:

  • 72 hours or more prior to first booking – No refund of Deposit Paid
  • Between 48-72 hours prior to first booking – No refund of Deposit Paid & 25% additional charge
  • Within 48 hours prior to first booking – No refund of Deposit Paid & 50% additional charge
  • In cases of no-show, we reserve the right to a 100% charge, being the total amount of services requested.

Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that you arrange travel insurance to cover a cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances or those beyond our control. We also recommend medical and personal insurance to cover medical expenses and loss of baggage or personal belongings.

Responsibility

We are not responsible for any lost or stolen items, injury, delay or inconvenience caused by events, which are beyond our control or which are not preventable by reasonable diligence by Your Malta Guide such as unusual severe weather, wars, etc.
